This project is in line with the proposal of the council recommendations from the EU Commission, that planned steps in 2021-2025 for the implementation and recognition of micro-credentials in Member States.
As a contribution to this process, MCE will contribute to the further conceptualization of micro-credentials and to transformative institutional developments in interaction with national and EU policies and frameworks.
Exploring the learners' perspective to further develop the concept of micro-credentials: design learner-oriented modular/ micro-credential formats
Support HEI's in organizing and creating the conditions for developing modular education and micro-credentials
Testing micro-credentials and SLPs through case studies and pilots, involving all stakeholders
Develop policies for CEPD and EU frameworks for micro-credentials (evidence-based dialogue)
